Very well built prefilter. The stainless steel construction is excellent and it does a good job catching debris. It's larger and heavier than I expected, so plan your installation space carefully.
Really impressed with the build quality. You can tell as soon as you handle it that this wasn't designed to be disposable pond equipment. The stainless steel housing and basket both feel substantial. After several weeks of use, I'm seeing much less debris reaching the main filtration system. Would buy it again for another pond setup
Heavy duty and simple. That's really what I wanted. The basket catches the bigger stuff and takes maybe a couple minutes to pull out and rinse.
