The NishikigoiUV-H110 has a 316 SS Vessel with 2 55 Watt Amalgam lamps. These units are built to last with 316 Stainless Steel. Not 304 found in most Stainless units. Why is 304 used mostly in Stainless units? Cheaper. 316 is considered marine grade and it costs more. Only the Best for our customers. GC Tek is proud to attach our name to these top of the line units. What about the lamps? 9000 like most units? No. How about 13,000 hours? We like bringing you the best possible products at resonable prices. Check around and you will see many plastic units priced above these and they aren't the Amalgam units. Why Amalgam and not regular or HO High Output? Because Amalgam is 2 to 5 times as powerful.
Check out those "Beefy" 2" Schedule 80 unions.
Everything is built to last on the NishikigoiUV units from the smallest to largest.
Why settle for anything less, especially when it doesn't cost more?
6600 GPH rated and for ponds up to 6600 gallons.
The UV is rated at that rate so whatever you throw at this unit you will be happy with the outcome at 6600 GPH on a pond size of up to 6600 gallons. A turnover of every hour is considered "Perfect World". Normally a turnover of every 3 hours will keep you ahead of the algae that causes the dreaded Green Water Monster.
There is a tank drain for Winter time drainage on the Vessel.
The All Weather Separate Control Box houses individual ballasts, one for each lamp.
The Lamps have an LED readout to show how many hours are on the 13,000-hour lamps.
Each lamp has its own indicator lamp that shows if the individual lamp is lit.
Talk about "Bells and Whistles," the NishikigoiUV units have it all.
Why would you choose anything less?
The Best doesn't have to be the most Expensive!
