The NishikigoiRDF units remove solids down to 75 microns. What does this mean? It means the BioMechanical Filter that you use such as one of the AlphaONE or AlphaNANO filters can perform the way they want to perform and that is with out solids clogging the filter. This lets the filter and bacteria do what it really wants to do and that is handle the solubles in the water instead of solids. Solids lowers the efficiency of the filter. Want to improve your water quality? Add one of these RDF units, flow to an AlphaONE or AlphaNANO and back to the pond or one of our Nishikigoi Wakimizu Bakki Showers. Clean water highly oxygenated= every koi's dream life.
